Rotary District 9470 is looking for Buddys and Campers for our 2009 camp, held at Point Walter.

If you are between 18 and 35, and want to enjoy a week of challenges and exhilaration apply now!

Unfortunately if you've already been to Handicamp as a camper before, you won't be able to attend in 2009.

Since 1982, Rotary District 9470 has been sponsoring a week long, live in camp for 18-35 year olds.

Handicamp's purpose is to pair people with a disability with able-bodied ‘buddies’ for a week to enjoy activities with, and develop greater understanding of each others needs and challenges.

The week is full of activities designed to foster camaraderies and also challenge. Some of the activities include: archery, abseiling, water sports, a games night, karaoke, ten-pin bowling and visits to Perth Zoo and Adventure World.

All participants are sponsored by a Rotary club for all accommodation, meals and activities.

Nominations are now open for the 2009 camp (11–17 January 2009). Click on the links opposite to download application forms.
