Want to be a Camper? Applications for campers will be available from August 2010.

Please note that campers who have attended Handicamp previously are not eligible to attend again.

Since 1982, Rotary has been sponsoring a week long, live in camp for 18-35 year olds.

Handicamp’s purpose is to pair people with a disability (campers) with able-bodied ‘buddies’ for a week to enjoy activities with, to grow through new experiences and develop greater understanding of others needs and challenges.

The week is full of activities designed to foster camaraderies and also challenge. Some of the activities include: archery, abseiling, water sports, a games night, karaoke, ten-pin bowling and visits to Perth Zoo and Adventure World.

All participants are sponsored by a Rotary club for all accommodation, meals and activities.

Our 2011 camp will be held from 16-22 January 2011 at Point Walter Recreation Camp, Bicton.
